Good job Darkknight!

This name sounds familiar, but somehow I didn't know he was connected to both Weinstein and Epstein. I'll give this the Potential Lead flair.

Cyrus Vance Jr. is the son of Cyrus Vance, Jimmy Carter's secretary of state.

"Former Secretary of State Cyrus R. Vance, who helped guide foreign policy through many major Cold War events of the 1970s and then resigned to protest President Jimmy Carter's use of force in an attempt to free Americans held hostage in Iran, died yesterday at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York. He was 84.

His son, Cyrus R. Vance Jr., said he had Alzheimer's disease.

Vance and William Jennings Bryan were the only two secretaries of state to quit over principle. Bryan left over the nation's entry into World War I; Vance broke with Carter in April 1980 when the president, over Vance's vehement opposition, gave the green light for the U.S. military to try to rescue the hostages who had been held for months by Muslim militants in the U.S. Embassy compound in Tehran." "Returning to his law practice, Vance served briefly as chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and was instrumental in brokering a series of temporary cease-fires between feuding factions." "Cyrus Vance Jr. is suddenly under fire. It began in October, when the New Yorker reported that in 2012 the Manhattan district attorney declined to charge Ivanka Trump and Donald Trump Jr. with fraud.....Within a week, the New York Times and the New Yorker revealed that in 2015, Vance chose not to prosecute another powerful and wealthy figure, Harvey Weinstein, despite an audio recording in which the Hollywood producer appeared to admit to sexual assault."

"Vance’s questionable decisions are significant in themselves, but they also highlight a much bigger issue: Lead prosecutors in the United States have an accountability problem. Operating at the local level, these officials—typically called district attorneys—exercise remarkable sway over the country’s criminal-justice agenda. There are approximately 2,500 of them nationwide, and the vast majority are elected. And yet, despite the discretion these officials have and the clout they wield, few people know anything about them, especially outside the major cities—and it is stunningly common that they run unopposed or cruise to reelection." https://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2017/11/05/cyrus-vance-jr-americas-prosecutor-problem-215786

connected to both Weinstein and Epstein

Needs sourcing (other than cdan).

Not a criticism, genuine expression of interest. I'll chase up on it myself later after sleep regardless, as it will tie into my research if true.
