An NYPD cop killed himself behind a Staten Island precinct on Friday — the third member of the department to commit suicide this month, sources told The Post.
Officer Mike Caddy, 29, was found inside a vehicle on Wilcox Street behind the 121st Precinct with a self-inflicted gunshot wound just before 4 p.m., the sources said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Sources described Caddy as a domestic-violence officer with seven years on the job. He was in uniform and working when he took his life.

PS 69, New Springville, began a partnership with the NYPD’s 121st Precinct to bring the “Too Good for Drugs” program to the school’s fifth-graders.
The program, which began in early December, will be held for 10 weeks total. Officer Michael Caddy visited the school in December to kick off the program.

Back in 2014: Report: Staten Island teacher made anonymous calls alleging sexual abuse at his, other schools
James Burke, who taught at PS 69 in New Springville, pictured above, made anonymous calls falsely accusing other teachers and city Department of Education employees of sexual misconduct, according to a report by schools Special Commissioner of Investigation Richard Condon.
STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- A Staten Island teacher under investigation for his interactions with an autistic boy waged a campaign of false sexual-abuse complaints targeting witnesses against him, their relatives and other city school employees, according to a report by schools Special Commissioner of Investigation Richard Condon.
James Burke, 27, became the subject of an investigation by Condon's office on May 31, when a dean at his school, PS 69 in New Springville, accused him of inappropriate behavior toward an autistic 8-year-old boy, according to the report, which Condon sent to schools Chancellor Carmen Farina on Tuesday.

Fast forward to January 2019 : http://bronx.news12.com/story/39776540/police-rape-suspect-told-12yearold-he-was-a-police-officer
The city Department of Education has confirmed that Carlos Medina, who is accused of raping a 12-year-old girl, worked as a custodian at P.S. 69 in Harding Park. It released a statement saying, "This non-school related allegation is incredibly disturbing and this individual has been terminated."
Medina, 51, pleaded not guilty to sex charges including rape, predatory sexual assault, criminal sex act and sexual abuse.
According to court papers, Medina used a fake police badge to lure the pre-teen into his car in the Soundview section of the borough. He then allegedly took the girl to a motel in Pelham Bay. It's there where court papers say the girl was raped multiple times. She eventually was able to get away. Medina turned himself in Thursday after surveillance video of him as a suspect in the case was shared online. His next court appearance will be Tuesday, Jan. 15.

PELHAM BAY -
Police say the man accused of raping a 12-year-old girl at a motel in Pelham Bay turned himself in Thursday afternoon with his attorney.
Police say the incident took place at the Hutchinson-Whitestone Motel on Westchester Avenue on Friday, Jan. 4. The man has been identified as Carlos Medina, 51, of the Bronx. He was charged with two counts of rape, predatory sexual assault, criminal sexual act, criminal impersonation, act in a manner injurious to a child and two counts of sexual abuse. Authorities say Medina, who was caught on surveillance video, approached the victim in a black SUV on Elder Avenue in Soundview around 10:30 p.m. Police say he displayed a badge during the encounter. News 12 is told the 12-year-old girl was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition.
The manager of the motel told News 12 that an adult coming to the front desk to book a room with a minor is required to show an ID. However, the manager says he left the 12-year-old girl in his car.
The manger also adds he doesn't know if the suspect was asked to show an ID to the front desk person because he wasn't working that night. He says they don't ask for identification for regulars and won't start now despite this incident. He does, however, say they will more cautious looking for new faces given that this suspect was a new customer.
..
Councilman Mark Gjonaj says he was incredibly disturbed by the incident.
"There's a heavily populated community ... schools are in walking distance and we could've jeopardized everyone that lives here," says Gjonaj. Gjonaj says he reached out to the motel's manager regarding safety measures.
They don't ask for ID from their regular customers? Uh huh.. According to comments on that article the motel has a very sleazy reputation..
I can't find much information on the motel apart from the fact that the manager is Luis Pichardo and then there was this odd video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=40Fw80pilNc Check out the logo of the spa mentioned. I'll look further into that YT channel when I have time as I see he's done lots on WeWork and we've covered quite a bit about that company on this subverse.
And in 1992, a high flying Wall Street lawyer, who was leading a double life, was murdered at the motel by a young gay prostitute https://www.leagle.com/decision/1994910161misc2d7491796
On November 9, 1992, David Schwartz was found stabbed to death in a room at the Whitestone Hutchinson Motel in Bronx County.
Some context as to who this lawyer was. He is mentioned in this article and was a high flying lawyer at a highly corrupt law firm:
Lawyer of the Day: A Prostitute-Loving Cravath Partner? - https://abovethelaw.com/2009/02/lawyer-of-the-day-a-prostitute-loving-cravath-partner/?show=comments#comments
The late Deborah Jeane Palfrey, aka the “D.C. Madam,” has a New York counterpart. From ABC News (via our sibling site, DealBreaker):
Wall street lawyers, investment bankers, CEOs and media executives often used corporate credit cards to pay for $2,000 an hour prostitutes, according to the madam who ran one of New York’s biggest and most expensive escort services until it was busted last year.
But prosecutors in the Manhattan District Attorney’s office chose not to pursue any of the corporate titans, says Kristin Davis, who pleaded guilty last year to charges of running a prostitution business that used more than a hundred women.
Among the names ABC News was able to confirm on [Davis’s client] list: a partner at the Wall Street law firm of Cravath Swaine Moore, “looking for a party girl to come fully equipped,” [who] spent a total of $20,000.
One of the comments on the article:
my mother’s second husband’s brother in law (i know i know) was an ex-cravath man, he was also had the creepy grey complexion of death and was quite clearly a closeted pervert who likely burned small asian boys with cigarettes . . i think it comes with the territory. . .
So, not a lot on that particular motel but whenever I searched for it another motel within the same vicinity kept coming up, the Capri Whitestone Motel: Google map showing the location of both
https://nypost.com/2008/09/09/bronx-motel-is-sold-for-11m/
2008 - A motel with “fantasy rooms” is getting some respect.
The Capri Whitestone Motel in the Ferry Point section of the East Bronx was just sold for $11.675 million to Baywood Hotels of Maryland. That works out to just under $123,000 for each of its 95 rooms.
The circa 1962, 33,000-square-foot building has over 190 feet of frontage and parking on its 98,000-foot lot. The sellers, Whitestone Motel Co., expanded the hotel back in the 1980s.
The other place that came up was :
Extended Stay America - New York City - LaGuardia Airport https://www.extendedstayamerica.com/hotels/ny/long-island/laguardia-airport
Address: 18-30 Whitestone Expwy. | Whitestone, NY 11357
And that was interesting because of this post:
Buckingham Palace has announced that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will get their own PR guru Sara Latham - Freud/Podesta, Clinton and Matthew Freud links...
Why would Podesta and Sara Latham be interested in a cleaning company at La Guardia? Well, just yesterday I was looking into a company called ISS because of this comment https://voat.co/v/pizzagate/2074387/10231657 . ..
The origins of G4S can be traced back to the Danish company Kjøbenhavn-Frederiksberg Nattevagt (Copenhagen-Frederiksberg Night Watch) - then merged with Securicor. Securicor managed detention at Manchester and Heathrow.
The Ferry Point/LaGuardia area seems like an interesting geographical area to research.
