I'm all for artistic expression and I've always been in to punk and hardcore. Like some metal like Carcass etc. There's something way way fucking off about these guys though, apart from the dodgy tattoo, there's a real sense of something different. I mean I know the lyrics are designed to be offensive, of course we all get that. But since the internet and the ease of communication, lyrics like this could easily influence some to act on them. I'm still amazed there's some folk who believe Ian Watkins from the Lost Prophets is innocent. There's some fans still of the band despite what Watkins did. I'd not at all be surprised if these guys weren't like Watkins either.

this is very insightful.

The whole point of the genre is to be as shocking as possible. more proof that isn't just asthetic (like exclusively playing private parties or strange political ties or sketchy legal shit) is needed as the whore purpose of the band is to get pearl clutchers upset and call them baby rapists.

Ian Wakins who was guilty and is a perfect example of this kinda of crime wrote top 40 modern rock. None of his songs were remotely about the crimes he was committing and he even pretended to be straight edge despite being a meth user.
