Julian Assange / WikiLeaks published the hacked Clinton emails that were the starting point for our Pizzagate investigation.
Ecuador has withdrawn his asylum, and he was arrested by MET police officers in the UK morning.
British PM Theresa May confirmed that he 'has also been arrested in relation to an extradition request from the United States’ authorities'
The US Justice Department has confirmed that it issued a extradition request for Assange “in connection with a federal charge of conspiracy to commit computer intrusion for agreeing to break a password to a classified US government computer”.
.The DOJ said Assange faces five years in jail.
The indictment against Assange has been unsealed by federal prosecutors in the Eastern District of Virginia, in Alexandria, just across the river from Washington DC.

It alleges Assange was involved in a computer hacking conspiracy with Chelsea Manning, a former army intelligence analyst, to crack a defence department password.
Cracking that password allowed Manning to log on a secret government computer network under another username and so cover her tracks when she leaked a vast trove of military and diplomatic documents to Wikileaks.
Assange is accused of “actively encouraging” Manning to provide more information.
According to the indictment, when Manning told him that she had sent Wikileaks all she had, Assange replied “Curious eyes never run dry in my experience.”

@think- I've read some info that Assange was extradited on 21st Oct 2016 to Langley AFB. London airport was shut down with no flights inbound or outbound, but someone on Voat checked flight tracker records and this one flight left during the shutdown. It was the same day as the Dyn cyber attack causing the internet blackout. I don't know what to believe

Yes, there seem to have been rumours out there that he was taken to the US on the date you mention. But I'm afraid these are only rumours...it would mean that someone else lived in the embassy after that, a double, and I'm not yet convinced that this is the case.

who knows, but it's possible, just look at Putins double in office now. So many theories flying around at the moment
