Richard Warner was raped as a 12-year-old by his father's friend. He has spent his life attempting to deal with the trauma and working to protect children in his community. He teaches children how to protect themselves by teaching them boxing. People in South Australia love and support him.
He locates paedophiles, conducts a lawful citizen's arrest, calls the police and hands over the evidence. He received more than 20 hours receiving advice from South Australia Police to ensure his actions were lawful and complied with all directions given.
The police do nothing, except show concern for the paedophile's wellbeing, worried that the community may retaliate against the pedophile. The pedophiles get a warning from the police and simply go home, to reoffend.
The police have charged Warner, who has had to appear in court. Warner is not a vigilante, because he does not take the law into his own hands; he hands the perpetrator to the police with the evidence. Some local police have supported him but police at the top are intent on putting a stop to his efforts to protect children.

I have several friends that are ex pats from down under. They are also into boxing. He would be welcome here in Venice, Fl. if they get crazy with it.
