Wow, I have always wondered if Pizzolatto was trying to hide in plain sight, or is actually a good guy trying to expose something. He was interviewed about his inspiration for the show and referenced a non-fiction book about writing horror stories. The Amazon description of the book is, essentially, the most horrifying stories are actually non-fiction. That piqued my interest obviously. He also claims to be from a "working class" family in Louisiana, but I think his father was an attorney. I don't usually associated lawyers with working class. He's intriguing to me. Thoughts?

I didn't know his background, but louisiana makes sense given that is the setting for the first season. Yeah, he might be trying to expose something. It just caught me off guard as the Foundation's use of the logo is such a strange one to pull from. I tweeted him asking how/why he chose to use this specific use of the logo. I'll let ya know if i get a reply

Did the episode explain that it is the Trudeau logo?

No, if I remember correctly, the female reporter just mentions the "blue triangle" associated with pedophilia. I'll watch it again though.

Thanks

Thanks. I hope he gets back to you but would be sort of surprised. He seems pretty normal, I think he's probably a good guy.
