If you’ve seen this show on Netflix or by some other means, I wonder if you noticed the references.
1. The lead male character is drunk and says something like “I could duck anything. Even pizza.”
2. The young version of her is sitting at the kitchen table coloring a pizza box.
Furthermore, the show takes place at an old Yeshiva. And Natasha’s character says something like “Imagine, years ago they were reading the Talmud on this very spot.
The plot is cool but not missing the dark elements. The Groubdhog’s day occurs for her cleaning purposes. She is ultimately healing her relationship with her insane mother. But it feel ominous and the end, when they walk through a very demonic parade put on by the mad homeless man named Horse. The parade begins with him putting on a paper mache hat of a horse. The entire parade is made up of giant paper mache puppets on sticks, and it’s very dark in nature, and there is an enormous skeleton, who is the largest puppet of all.
