Newsweek reports that in public comments about the incident involving Russian and Ukrainian forces in the Sea of Azov, Putin accused Ukraine government of stirring up Russophobic sentiments in its population. Somehow he linked that with the cannibalism of children. Not sure how that fits together, but this is his astonishing statement:

"Kiev is actively stirring up anti-Russian sentiment. That's all they have. And it all works. If they want to eat babies for breakfast tomorrow, they'll probably give them babies,” he told an audience at a conference in Moscow.
