Some odd/suspicious details:

"Mother" wearing Elsa t-shirt (several sizes too small) - signal to potential customers?

"Mother" bears no physical resemblance to children

"Mother's" rough grip of child's wrist in both photos - distinctly unmaternal (although what kind of mother drags her young children 2000 miles across Central America)

Child aged at least 4 or 5 wearing diapers

Child's fingers stuck in wiffle ball - some form of punishment?

"Mother" wearing orange wristband (but not children)

Look at the skin complexion of the “mother” compared to the children. Does...not...match.

In fact, the child has very interesting characteristics. In what country do people look like that? Her (or his) hair is a sandy blonde, and her skin is more golden than brown.

Sketchy as fuck.
