A study by Paul Sullins, a leader in the field of research on same-sex parenting and its implications for child development, found a nearly-perfect correlation (0.89) between an increase in the number of homosexual priests and sex abuse of minors, especially boys. The study attributes priest pedophilia to both a predominance of homosexuals among the priesthood (8 times the percentage of homosexuals in the larger U.S. population), as well as a homosexual sub-culture in seminaries. More alarming still is that after years in decline, Catholic clergy sex abuse is on the rise again.

I wonder if it is really on the rise or just bubbling to the surface because they are that emboldened with how the public view of homosexuality is these days.

The spook-term is limited hangout. When they can't hide their crimes anymore, they release some shocking information to stop the normie from finding out the whole truth.

What are we missing?!

Like maybe that priest pedophilia isn't on the rise, but as bad as it's always been but people are finding out

I think you nailed it. It's always been bad, but they are attempting to control history and pretend that it hasn't been a decades long pattern, that they ignored and allowed to flourish.

Decades? Try centuries:
Pope Leo X had more exotic tastes. Famed for his extravagant lifestyle, he was entertained by young boys leaping naked from cakes. When the new Pope entered Florence in triumph, he had a young boy painted gold, from head to toe, who paraded through the streets. It was pure propaganda, implying the return of a golden age under the rule of the Medici. The boy died shortly afterwards, poisoned by the gold paint on his skin but the papal celebrations went on for days.

I.E. "We raped the boy to death later that night, but it was the paint"

Yes, at LEAST decades

Gold is poisonous just like pure water, but not like lead. They would have to have blown fine gold dust into his lungs, or stuck it with something poisonous. Most likely a sacrifice or ritual gone wrong. I am calling this a really old, cold case.

Oh that's awful! The sickness runs so deep. Thanks for the history lesson.
And I'm not sure I buy the story that the boy died from the paint. He probably died from something much worse. So very sad!
