Here is something I just found. I've been noticing the phenomenon of anime as a mode of storytelling, and I've found many incest/child abuse apologist themes throughout the genre. It is truly terrifying how quickly these anime are brainwashing people in my generation and younger. There are good, uplifting and inspiring anime but they are incredibly rare and I'd say pedophilia and sex abuse heavily mark the genre of anime as a whole.
