The Sacred Spiral is a very ancient occult symbol. This is what it ultimately refers to. Regeneration, Transcendence, Growth, Change. Tramsformation. Etc.

The six-pointed star has a similar meaning in occultism, but is more dialectical. Transformation through opposites. Think Hegel.
