OAK ISLAND, NC (WWAY) — There is more trouble for the son of the mayor of Oak Island.

36-year-old Justin Brochure was arrested, again, Friday afternoon. Investigators say he violated his release order.

Brochure is also charged with 11 counts of second degree sexual exploitation of a minor.

Oak Island Police say those charges are related to his original arrest in July when he was charged with child pornography.

His bond was $2,000,000 but was reduced to $50,000.

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — A Brunswick County man faces a slew of charges for child pornography after an investigation involving the Department of Homeland Security, according to District Attorney Jon David.

Oak Island Police were involved in the investigation before the District Attorney said Brochure moved to Leland after the investigation began.

Charges include, 31 counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.
