Lloyd Kaufman of troma is a scumbag of the highest order. The world would be a better place without him. But linking Kappy to him is drawing a very long bow. Kappy was in some movie, that Troma then bought. Kappy does have a loud mouth but no bigger than many others who don't get kicked off all social media. So it does look like Kappy's being silenced. Maybe it was Hoffman; I don't know.

imho:

1. If they're asking for donations, red flag. They can claim that all money goes into a film or to victims, but does it? There's no way of knowing; there's no transparency. They can pocket that money, even when it's hundreds of thousands from a generous and naïve benefactor. Don't give money to people.

2. If they're not a victim of abuse but hiding behind Jesus or a Christian cross; they're not legit. It's sanctimonious claptrap and hypocrisy.

3. If they have the luxury of calling in an army of goons to protect them, red flag. Run-of-the-mill plebs don't have protectors.

4. If they've worked as bit actors, red flag.

5. If it looks like someone's handed them a soapbox and they're revelling in the attention, red flag.

6. Big following very quickly, red flag. Doesn't get silenced, red flag.

Whatever is said about Barnett, she hasn't changed her story. I spoke to her years ago when she first came forward with her claims. She didn't come across as a liar, but I'm not an expert on lie detection. But at least she doesn't ask for money and is not afraid to name names. She appears to be a straight shooter and appears to have good BS detection skills.
