I am disappointed that the WT now also adheres to these crazy demands of signing on. I am hoping someone explains all this. I did find this explanation, although I hate to link to CNN Money. It seems to be a pretty clear description. And it burned me up good.
The Washington Times on Monday issued a lengthy retraction and apology for an editorial it published in March about Aaron Rich, the brother of the slain Democratic National Committee staffer Seth Rich whose unsolved murder became the basis for conspiracy theories on the far-right.
Actually that is a Bleeping Lie. It was not just the far right. I was a Dem. and we all have plenty of theories that are not conspiritorial. They are what we call deductions after what we experienced due to the DNC and their horrible treatment of Bernie Sanders. Whether or not you were for him or not, it was a huge miscarriage of justice that never should have happened nor been allowed. They stole the candidacy for HRC.
The Washington Times' initial article, which the lawsuit said was published both online and in print, stated that it was "well known in intelligence circles that Seth Rich and his brother, Aaron Rich, downloaded the DNC emails and was paid by Wikileaks for that information."
"The Washington Times now does not have any basis to believe any part of that statement to be true, and The Washington Times retracts it in its entirety," the newspaper's Monday retraction said.
Actually this is Good News on Fake News. They had to retract all of it and they had to pay. Hooray for Adam Rich for fighting a giant.
Hmm. The NYT. I can't imagine they would print a retraction. I hope it's true. They may have admitted it, but maybe not in print.
