drugged? I think I was the only one there that wasn't on medications. The bad guys tried to get me on drugs as a kid every day but I saw what it did to my father so I never succumbed to it, (turns out he was a victim too, tho I barely knew him, the only thing I knew is I didn't want to end up like he was)

I'm sure the other victims I met remember me quite well, it's not everyday someone tells you your whole life was a torture experiment - and most of them accepted it right away because of how strange their pasts were, put in new context of it being a torture show for rich despots - well, suddenly a lifetime of horrible and strange experiences made sense to them.

It also helped them accept it due to how (in some cases) the oddity of how they came to be there, some were just arrested and told a family member had pressed charges against them and they were never aware of it before then or of anything that family member had against them. - Basically it was just an excuse to get them to talk to me and so it made a surprising amount of sense in context.

Now some of them were in much worse psychological shape than I was, but it wasn't that they were stupid, just traumatized in one way or another, so while they had moments where they would be out of it, when they were with it, they communicated and understood them just fine.
