Let me start off by saying that I'm not going to come out of the gate here and be like "Oh My God, look it's a pedo symbol, the pedophiles control Dollar Tree, they're taking over the world, yada yada yada...". I never want to be like that. This is going to be more of a question than an rushing-out-of-the-gate statement.
Knowing what we know about the pedophile code symbols, (there's a link on that page to download the file which shows the heart within another heart) -
When I saw this, I got irked. I don't usually get shook, but the words underneath got to me - "Baby Love".
Is it all just because of the subject matter considering the rest of the back wall was filled with gift bags for little children's parties or am I right for being irked?

I would hate for it to be sinister as so many poor people and seniors on Soc. Sec. have to rely on these steep discount stores. Actually, I think its innocent. Remember now, just a small percentage of Americans even know what a pedo symbol is. I didnt until the Fall of 2016. Also, it wouldnt be surprising if some sicko designer in a design firm saw a chance to sprinkle some pedo symbols on an unsuspecting client's product line. Cant you just envision some of Alefantis' artsy-fartsy friends doing just that to an innocent person who hired them to design a costume or birthday cake or whatever. I agree that we need some additional evidence whenever we call a logo into question.

I'm having a hard time with this. I think that heart looks pretty innocent and the writing would be innocent too. BUT. When you look at the heart by itself it looks cute and sweet, but it's the Baby love that makes me cringe a little. The two combined are making me sit on the fence on this. And oh yes, I so agree that some pervert top level guy at DT would get his kicks sticking this on all the bags. But yes, we have to err on the side of caution otherwise we look like a bunch of crazies.

Typical Art school student's parent's have lot's of money and they just want them to stay in some kind of school because they are dropouts. Easy prey for drugs/either/other.
