The Vatican’s moral authority has been left in tatters by a United Nations report condemning the Catholic Church’s “code of silence” on paedophile priests, allowing known sex offenders to continue working with children to this day.

It is not believed that Biljana Djurdjevic has any direct role. Rather, her works are discussed in relation to the mindset of art collector Tony Podesta.

Djurdjevic is known for creating art of minors in abusive situations, such as sado-masichism. Tony Podesta collects these paintings for display in his home.

Food for thought -- a comparison:

Tony Podesta owns a painting by Biljana Djurdjevic that depicts abused children and women in an empty blue-tiled pool. I noticed the pool at the Papal Palace Castel Gandolfo outside Rome, a retreat for popes, appears to have similar blue tile. I did some digging, and kept noticing more and more patterns and colors that seem to link the painting to the PPCG, however I'm far from sure.

Background of Castel Gandolfo

The Papal Palace of Castel Gandolfo is located within the small town of Castel Gandolfo. The property has been used for centuries as a retreat for popes. The estate is Vatican-owned, larger than Vatican City, and extraterritorial and as such not subject to local law.
