The Washington State Patrol investigated and "found no evidence to indicate that the Tacoma Police Department is a criminally corrupt organization." But they did uncover examples of:

Discrimination and harassment. Conflicting and illegal orders. Immoral conduct. Failure to investigate domestic violence. Conducting personal business on duty. Improper use of department equipment. Improper evidence handling. Lying."
