And whats wrong with restricting use of federal funds for abortion. All middle class and upperclass women can go to Costa Rica, even Italy for a long weekend. Abortions for poor women can be funded thru liberal foundations obtaining donations from the uberwealthy including Madonna and Angelina and Oprah and all of Hillarys friends.
Ive often wondered if liberals and conservatives would be willing to each make a sacrifice: No more assault weapons in exchange for severe restrictions on abortion.
1) "Assault weapons" are military in nature and restricted to pre-1986 and earlier models via NFA and other restrictive acts. I'll assume you mean "firearms" in general - as there is no difference between the capabilities of an AR and a Ruger Mini-14 which isn't an "assault rifle". Lots of misinformation floating about.
2) Without the Second Amendment, we wouldn't be having any of this conversation. Voat would be gone. Any hatethink discussions online would have been vanquished. And HRC and the DS would have rounded most of us up by now and imprisoned us. Ponder that.
3) IMO, anything restriction on firearms is NON-NEGOTIABLE under any circumstance. Period. 2A allows 1A to exist.

It took me a long time to fully come to that conclusion, but I agree. Except in cases of rape, incest, and a threat to the mother's life.

Even in those cases, it's still murder. It's just that our society is more inclined to justify the murder because of the circumstances.
