"Swimming against the tide of promises to crack down on abuse and cover-up led by Pope Francis, a newly created Mexican cardinal said that some accusers should be “ashamed” to point their finger at clerics because many of them have skeletons in their own closets.
The victims of pedophilia who “accuse men of the Church should [be careful] because they have long tails that are easily stepped on,” said Cardinal Sergio Obeso Rivera.
The cardinal, emeritus Archbishop of Xalapa, in Veracruz, Mexico, spoke to journalists before a celebration he led in his former diocese.
Even though he acknowledged that some allegations are true, he went after the victims and avoided referring to the Pennsylvania grand jury report in the United States that found some 300 abusive priests in a span of seven decades in six dioceses.
Obeso Rivera’s words came last week, after the report was made public.
“I’m here happy to talk about nice things, not about problematic things, it’s an accusation that is made, and in some cases it’s true. But the evil of many is the consolation of fools, because sometimes those who accuse men of the Church should [be careful] because they have long tails that are easily stepped on.”
However, he did say that the accusations “make us feel bad and we want to improve.”
Obeso Rivera was made a cardinal by Pope Francis on June 28. As the prelate is over 80, he will not be participating in the eventual conclave to choose the pontiff’s successor."

"The Church’s sex scandal also touched Obeso Rivera’s Mexico.
Father Marcial Maciel Dogollado was defrocked by Pope Benedict in 2006 after being found guilty by the Church of sexually abusing nine boys and young men. After he died, it was discovered he had fathered a child with one of his two mistresses and might have abused his own children. Dogollado died in Florida in 2008 at the age of 87."
EDIT to add my take:
Given the timing, I think it's likely the appointment of this cardinal was strategic. Francis seats a disposable cardinal to publicize what he can't--a reminder to victims of what they were threatened with as they were being raped and molested if they spoke a word of it. Death to them and their families? Supporting this theory is that the cardinal was speaking to journalists when he delivered the threat. The message was deliberately planned for public distribution far and wide.

From an OP of mine: http://www.catholicherald.co.uk/commentandblogs/2016/05/05/why-catholics-thrive-in-the-cia/
From another OP of mine https://voat.co/v/pizzagate/2357306:
Here is my take. The Jesuits and the secret societies are intertwined. These same secret societies are also prevalent at the Ivy League schools. All of these entities are intertwined and joined at the hip.
What I can tell you is this. Here are the D/CIA from Obama to today:
Michael Hayden, May 30, 2006 – February 12, 2009 - Catholic, Duquesne (Jesuit set founded)
Leon Panetta, February 13, 2009 – June 30, 2011 - Catholic, Santa Clara University
Michael Morell, July 1, 2011 – September 6, 2011 - Catholic, Georgetown
David Petraeus, September 6, 2011 – November 9, 2012 - Religion unknown, USMA, fired by Obama after being setup for sharing his notes and screwing his biographer.
Michael Morell, November 9, 2012 – March 8, 2013 - Catholic (as above)
John Brennan, March 8, 2013 – January 20, 2017 - Catholic convert to Islam, Fordham (Jesuit)
Mike Pompeo, January 20, 2017 - Religion unknown, USMA, first D/CIA appointed by POTUS.
That says all you need to know about whose influence is on the CIA.

Yes yes yes. This post right here, says it. It's the jesuits, they run everything. It's not the Jews. Trump is jesuit educated as well, and his new supreme court justice, also catholic.

It's worth noting that Trump only spent 2 years at Fordham before transferring to Wharton. And he is a Presbyterian, not Catholic.

So? That doesn't mean anything. Apostate protestantism (presbyterian being part of it), is just as catholic as the vatican in terms of running things.

The Pope hates Trump. Enough said.

That's all theater. Jesuits all lie to the public. Trump is a jesuit, and of course the pope is one too.
Enough said.
