I read the article by parsing the link without "?utm_source=facebook.com&utm_campaign=sportsillustrated&xid=socialflow_facebook_si&utm_medium=social" at the end and given that absolutely nothing is provided to corroborate the story, I'm going to go ahead and call bullshit - likely that LeBron James put Reddick up to it.
Note: Reddick plays for Philadelphia, LeBron James plays for Los Angeles.
