Are we witnessing a new tyranny of the minority? Democracy embraces majority rule with due regard for minority rights. The LGBTABCD....community consists of no more than 4 % of the U.S. population residing mostly in New England area and the West Coast yet is becoming the prevailing standard for social mores, excessive influence on the arts and culture, excessive exposure in news media, tthe impetus for a whole new set of laws pertaining to hate speech, military entitlements, bathroom regulations, etc. I for one am sick and tired of this. Thank goodness for the availability of demographic maps that direct me to the states and regions of the country where I can live and visit with minimal exposure to such nihlism or will such maps be eradicated so as not to discriminate against this vocal and persistant minority.
