This is beyond creepy. A couple in Germany figured out how to use the DarkNet to sell access to their son at up to 10,000 Euros a time, and then they were also selling videos of the abuse over the DarkNet. They were basically running an organized pedophilia business.

They squealed when caught, so fortunately six other pedophiles were caught too and are on trial on pedophilia charges also.

The Germans seem to be serious about imprisoning pedophiles too (unlike some other countries in Europe like France & Belgium.) The boy's mother is getting 12.5 years, while the father, who had a previous pedophilia conviction has been sentenced basically to life in prison without parole, using a designation similar to the "Dangerous Offender" designation used in The UK and some states in the US.

Here is the most telling quote in the whole article IMO, though: " Questions have been asked as to why no welfare officer picked up on the boy’s plight, and why no attempt was made to prevent him from living under the same roof as a convicted paedophile"

It looks like Child Welfare Services in Germany could be as much a part of the problem in Germany as CPS is in the US and the UK.
