No James Wood doesn't get a free pass. It's perfectly reasonable to be disgusted by his behaviour and he's not alone. Many famous men of a certain age have lived through the 60s 70s and 80s when nobody batted an eyelid if they were seen with girls young enough to be their daughters. Thankfully society has changed and its not as tolerated anymore and these men get called out on not accepting they're no longer young men.

But its a different issue altogether. James Woods hits on a 16 year old. It's inappropriate, creepy, gross, whatever you want to call if if you find it offensive. His intentions are clear but its an open and honest pick up attempt. Has he been arrested for possessing videos of toddlers and babies being raped? Has he joked about wanting to do that? Has he made attempts to purchase young children to abuse? Not as far as I know.

I wish certain people would stop trying to muddy the waters by throwing around dumb shit like Roy Moore or this thing with James Woods. It's just a completely different issue and smacks of desperate attempt to move attention away from the truly sick.
