Trump clearly has a Yankee/ Massachusetts accent, but he is articulate enough for everyone too understand. I was actually thinking of the wave of British news announcers, especially CNN.

Yeah, I guess you are right. To a Southern ear is just sounds North East. We know the general area from whence they came, and we know their only purpose here is to destroy the woods/farmland and build golf courses with sprawling neighborhoods.
