This cannot be defended.
Here is an image from the precursor show to Rick and Morty by Roiland. It features the plot which was attributed to Hillary Clinton in the alleged "Frazzle Drip" tapes which haven't surfaced. Well now the true origin has been found:

In this episode of "incredible tales" the character of jellybean, a child rapist, cuts the child off a face and forces another child to watch.
How is this even remotely defensible?

DAN HARMON
Dan Harmon is a seasoned writer for film and television. He is the creator and executive producer of NBC’s “Community”, co-creator of Adult Swim’s animated series, “Rick and Morty”, and co-creator of Comedy Central’s “The Sarah Silverman Program”. Harmon co-wrote the Academy Award ™ nominated film, “Monster House” and the now famously failed television comedy pilot, “Heat Vision and Jack”, with writing partner Rob Schrab. He and Schrab founded Channel 101, a website celebrating innovative new web series. Dan also performs a weekly live show and recorded podcast, called “Harmontown”, with special guests at Meltdown Comics in Hollywood. Starburns Industries recently premiered the movie at the South By South West Film Festival.
DINO STAMATOPOULOS
Dino Stamatopoulos “grew up” in the Chicago suburb of Norridge, IL, where he masturbated and wrote full time in his parents’ basement. He went to Columbia College in Chicago, and definitely NOT Columbia University in New York. To limit the confusion, it’s always helpful to spell the former: Kolumbia Kollege in Khicago (but with backwards “K”s).
Dino is a seasoned writer for “The Ben Stiller Show”, “The Dana Carvey Show”, “TV Funhouse”, “Late Show with David Letterman”, HBO’s “Mr Show” and “Late Night with Conan O’Brien” and the creator of “High School USA!” and two Adult Swim series, “Moral Orel” and “Mary Shelley’s Frankenhole”, both produced by Starburns Industries.

Harmontown
Harmontown is a weekly live comedy podcast that began airing on June 6, 2012. It is hosted by writer Dan Harmon, best known as the creator of the television series Community and Rick and Morty, and actor Jeff B. Davis, best known for his work on the improvisational comedy series Whose Line Is It Anyway?
The podcast has featured many guest appearances, including Kumail Nanjiani, Greg Proops, Aubrey Plaza, Bobcat Goldthwait, Rob Schrab, Curtis Armstrong, Patton Oswalt, Jason Sudeikis, Dana Carvey, Felicia Day, Robin Williams, Mitch Hurwitz, Joel Mchale, Rob Corddry, John Mayer, Eric Idle, Logic, and Steve Agee.
The original premise of Harmontown began with Harmon's and Davis's attempts to discuss how to successfully eliminate the flaws of society and create a utopia (which they claimed could be addressed with the creation of a lunar colony) in front of a live audience https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harmontown

carmencita ago
Too many questions and no answers. Yes the stench is strong. We can look at almost everyone. They all are caught up in it. Were we discussing Renegade or SCTM? Possibly.

Yeah, I never believed it either, even then. The only one I can think of is Demon Wilson.
