Juneau County funeral director faces child pornography charge
According to a criminal complaint:
The Juneau County Sheriff’s Office began investigating Steve Mitchell after receiving a Cyber Tip regarding a Chatstep account which allegedly contained an image of child pornography. After receiving an additional tip, detectives obtained a search warrant to investigate Thompson Funeral Home.
In early May, the Wisconsin Division of Criminal Investigation served a subpoena to , the funeral home’s internet provider, to obtain the suspicious images. The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children also received a tip from Chatstep that Mitchell was uploading pornographic images of children.
detectives from Juneau County, a digital forensics examiner from DCI and the Wonewoc Police Department, searched the funeral home for evidence. Several items were taken including a hard drive which allegedly contained a file with several photos of child pornography.
Mitchell was contacted by detectives and agreed to meet with them in Mauston. Mitchell will have an initial appearance Aug. 9 at 9 a.m. at the Juneau County Justice Center. He was also accused of stealing 80k in prepaid funerals.authorities believe Mitchell was pocketing the money for his own use.

He was taking pictures of them and selling them. There are a lot of sickos in the funeral business. It's because pedos have figured out that they can infiltrate these places and have their "fun". Necrophilia is another favorite pastime of theirs. It's really beyond evil.

Also, violent pedos with dead children on their hands no doubt appreciate having sympathizers with access to funeral home incinerators.

They are very ingenious when it comes to committing their crimes. Methodical. Yes, if they commit a crime and take the life of a child, a homeless one, or an untended one, they have a place for their body. It is so very sad.
