Yes. I made this point on the thread about change.org and got downvoted. Glad to see others do actually agree. I know a guy who worked for Game who was sacked for using distasteful language and profanities on social media NOTHING as bad as what Gunn tweeted so why idiots are up in arms is beyond me. If you work for a company like Disney its even more relevant. In my work its a disciplinary to tweet something that could harm the orgs reputation and they're very clear it would likely lead to your dismissal.

At my job we're told that any social media posting that could even indirectly put the organization in a negative light is grounds for termination.
