It would appear that Heinwein is a renowned and accomplished artist best known for portrayals of children abused and betrayed by the adults and social institutions around them. He has photographed and painted such children as far back as 1969/1970 before society was awakening to this abuse. He doesnt appear to.endorse such abuse but rather forces the images upon us so.that we may know the reality of abuse.
Yet his interest in this topic does not seem to be explained and he does keep.strange company like Marilyn Manson while dividing his time between Germany where he owns a castle and Tribeca, NYC. When viewing these images I feel very sad rather than outraged by the images we saw in researching Alefantis and the Podestas where pedophelia was celebrated. Until I learn more, I think he is a good guy, not a perpetrator.
maybe he was simply drawn to perversions and liked the shock.value of his work and just maybe it was musum curators who put a positive spin on his works. Im not sure but it does seem more sympathetic than the artists endorsed by the Podestas. Just an.opinion, no real.accounting for taste.

I don't think you become the mentor of a known satanist like Marilyn Manson when you're 'a good guy'.

I also dont get bad vibes from him, yet the connections to the ones you mentioned plus Roman Polanski and the pentagram on his head makes me wonder.
