First off let's look at Snopes:
The 'Podesta e-mails' revealed the existence of a secret society of pedophiles operating through a pizza place loosely connected to Clinton associate David Brock. See Example( s )
"The 'Podesta e-mails'" - actually there were various characters involved, not just Podesta, and there were SPECIFIC emails cited (rather than a vague "The Podesta emails you guys don't need to worry about reading"). Notice that the element discussed is generalized rather than specific (as it should be)
"...revealed the existence of a secret society of pedophiles" - the "secret society" part is intentionally inserted to make the people look crazy or insane. The "revealed" part again is inappropriate because it gets very specific as if there was one single email that unlocked this whole thing, when there were several
"... operating through a pizza place loosely connected to Clinton associate David Brock."- notice that Snopes zoomed in on the wrong people and wrong relationship (misdirection) on David Brock, as well as Brock's connection with Clinton (associate). The actual star focused on in the post was James Alefantis, and his relationship with Brock (former lovers). Notice that Snopes acted as if Comet Pizza were the center of this whole conspiracy when in reality it was alleged to be one of multiple places.
Notice that Snopes made no reference to the fact that Comet Pizza changed its logo.
Notice that Snopes made no reference to the fact that BBC and Alefantis LIED ABOUT NOT HAVING A BASEMENT
On 4 November 2016, Reddit user u/DumbScribblyUnctious published a thread titled “Comet Ping Pong – Pizzagate Summary” to subreddit r/The_Donald (a community of Donald Trump supporters), which appears to have touched off a complex and detailed conspiracy theory involving WikiLeaks’ release of e-mails from former Hillary Clinton presidential campaign chair John Podesta, child exploitation, and a Washington, D.C., pizzeria called Comet Ping Pong.
Notice how Snopes VERY SPECIFICALLY pins this entire idea/concept down to specific people with specific ideas
Compare the Strawman Snopes made to the original post
Comet Pizza is a pizza place owned by James Alefantis, who is the former gay boyfriend of David Brock, the CEO of Correct The Record. It has been the venue for dozens of events for the Hillary campaign staff. John Podesta has had campaign fundraisers there for both Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. John's brother and business partner Tony Podesta has his birthday party there every year.
The entire post was a summary of SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITIES, SPECULATION and THEORIES
And the single biggest character involved was Alefantis
This is a good third party review of the situation in article form

Great idea. When I have the time I will create blog posts on these such things. If the basement issue has been debunked here then its a good way to prove that people care about debunking or proving things, we dont just blindly believe stuff or make stuff up. It adds to the validity if we prove that pizzagate researchers are not looneys as the MSM would have you believe. ALL articles I've read so far focus on the non existent basement and the CRAZY UNHINGED SCARY DANGEROUS guy who fired a shot in comet ping pong. However they fail to mention the hard drive he apparently destroyed in a fluke with that one shot. Ahem.
