Fuck, it works on Facebook and as an email to others(with my steemit link) but not on here

The link does work, it just has to be copied and pasted.
Here's a trick so people can click on it and it will work:
Put a title for the link in brackets. Immediately follow that with the link in parentheses.
For example, this, but without the space between the second bracket and the first parenthesis:
[Fiona Barnett's Statement] (https://steemit.com/child/@thesparkafilm/fiona)
Just copy and paste the line above into your new thread, and eliminate the space between the second bracket and the first parenthesis. You'll end up with this, below, a working "hyperlink":
