I recall watching a comedy series called Nathan Barley, which was way ahead of its time in calling out champagne socialist, hipster douchebaggery (it originally aired in 2005). One episode featured the titular character receiving oral sex from what he thought was an underage girl (she turned out to be 18 but he didn't know that at the time) and being congratulated at the end of the episode by the other hipster degenerates. Chris Morris, one of the writers of the show, also did a couple of sketches hinting at paedo-Satanist Jimmy Savile's disgusting proclivities whilst Savile was still alive in the satirical comedy show Brass Eye. So it seems the violation of children has been a source of jollies for the Cultural Marxist left for quite some time (and let's not even mention the 'Chester the Molester' comic strip in dirtbag Flynt's Penthouse magazine).
Agree that it's all about normalization. Comics have weaponized freedom of speech to achieve this end. If they can get someone to laugh at child rape, they have effectively created an accomplice.
