The examiner, the Washington Times and Fox News are the only ones that seem to have this right now. All cite Tucker who cites two anonymous sources. Fox News has it in about the middle of the front page.

Special counsel Robert Mueller is asking a judge to grant immunity from prosecution for five potential witnesses whose testimony Mueller wants to compel at the upcoming federal criminal trial of former Trump campaign chief Paul Manafort, according to a court filing Tuesday.
If the five unidentified people are not granted immunity — and compelled to testify against Manafort — they would either refuse to take the witness stand or refuse to answer questions by citing their Fifth Amendment right against being forced to incriminate themselves, according to Mueller's filing in U.S. District Court in Alexandria, Virginia.
Mueller has also asked Judge T.S. Ellis to seal from public view the court motions detailing the witnesses' identities.
"The five individuals identified in the motions at issue are third parties who have not been charged in this matter, and who have not been identified publicly with the case," Mueller's team argued in a filing asking for that sealing order.
By the way that's 5 more sealed documents in Pacer that are not indictments. The part about not been indentified publicly is interesting. To my mind Tony Podesta has been identified publically.
So a couple things that are interesting so far.
-This story hasn't broken beyond Tucker Carlson yet. If this was confirmed, this would be in every paper.
-The language about the 5 folks getting immunity, seems not to apply to Podesta. This could mean Tucker's report is wrong, this story is wrong or that Mueller already secured Podesta's testimony another way.
-Tucker's is being deceptive when he claims Manafort may rot in jail for the identical crime as Tony Podesta. Manafort is being charged with over 3 dozen crimes. The latest charges against him are conspiracy to obstruct justice and witness tampering. The other conpsirator to obstruct justice was Konstantin Kilimnik, a Manafort employee with ties to Russian itelligence. Just the money laundering and bank fraud fraud charges from the first indictment could be a penalty of 90 years.

No one has mentioned Vin Weber, the Republican lobbyist who owns Mercury LLC, the other lobbying firm mentioned in this case. I would assume they face the same issues as Podesta Group.......It's just dawned on me that the 5 folks getting immunity could include people who worked for Tony Podesta. They would have info and they have not been publicly identified.
