Great post, thank you!

I haven't see this mentioned:

The symbol Tanit, used on Youth2ESV.org, is almost never shown as having legs.

This is the best example I have found:

From the British Museum: https://artsandculture.google.com/asset/limestone-stela-with-images-of-the-goddess-tanit/6wEA3B3SGovLCw

Tanit seems to be a mermaid demon, as well as a human sacrifice demon as mentioned by Random Rants of Ryan.

Other goddesses/deities/demons -- with -- no legs, arms out to the side, and, the second, below, has a crescent moon atop its head as this Tanit in the British Museum does :

The Youth2ESV's Tanit's crown points are similar to the crown points on the Starbucks mermaid:

This article suggests the points reflect pope's hats:

Canada's 3rd Secretary-General, Michaëlle Jean, has Haitian mermaid spirits on her coat of arms:

I don't know anything about Tanit, or mermaid demons, etc., just thought I would point out there are usually no legs in representations of Tanit.

I'm adding this to my comment above.

I just saw this, I wonder if Tanit's legs are omitted to reference it is standing behind an altar, as in the Gloria Vanderbilt photo:

To make things more complicated and bizarre, in the story of the "twin-tailed siren" -- from which a woodcut from a Nordic version was used for the original Starbucks logo -- she/it only was a mermaid on Saturdays:

Yes, good for her!

I just a commercial for this medicine on TV. The logo for Latuda might be Tanit:
