The priest was all smiles, until the baby's hand actually came up and did a full on smack and made contact with the priest's face. Kids get attached to their parents and when a stranger handles them in a wierd way (tapping on their forehead) they react.
The priests reaction was overboard he had his finger swatted away by the kid twice and the 2nd the priest lost his temper.
The he also seemed to be intentionally gripping the child overly hard to hurt the kid.
