However, it wasn't quite enough for the media to take any notice. Peter's mother had already been committed to an insane asylum while Henry gallivanted around the world as an international movie star leaving Peter in the care of some none too vigilant nannies. That very same year, Henry Fonda was voted "Parent of the Year" by Time Magazine! Tragically and almost inconceivably, Jane didn't find out her mother had committed suicide in the asylum until she read it in a movie magazine several years later during school recess! Family of the year they weren't.
Jane admitted that she had issues regarding closeness which caused her and Turner’s divorce. I took this to mean sexually. I can’t even imagine such a life.
