Just another child grooming way for those perverts.
"A mother has hit out at the makers of a game that is popular with children after a ‘friend’ invited her into a sex room. The woman, who only gave her name as Peggy, said she was watching her daughter play the game Roblox when the incident occurred.
She immediately took the game away from the girl then explored what was happening so that she could warn other parents. She told Kidspot: ‘Luckily I was sitting next to her and noticed out of the corner of my eyes that one of the characters had breasts so it made me look closer.’"

I don't envy parents who aren't significantly technology literate.
Regardless of what you think about kids on computers, the fact remains that their knowledge of how to use a computer is going to be a major part of their future.
Having grown up with unsupervised computer access during the wild west of the early 90s to mid 2000s, I know good and well the potentials for harm and benefit.
I don't take a strict oversite role with my kids on the computer. I feel like doing so would make them naive and succeptable to things like this. I ease them into various things they are allowed to do depending on their maturity level, and keep an eye on what they are doing in a passive manner. When I find something questionable, or at this point mostly hear something questionable, we have a talk about what to do about it.
