Ten years ago I never would have believed anything like this could be possible. I would have the same "arguments" as most of you as to why it would be entirely impossible.

But there exists a novel or a series of novels where there is a family of people who skin people alive. They do it because the body releases certain things that keeps them alive. I did not know this book is going to be about this, as there was nothing on the back cover to say 'hey this is a horror novel where they skin people alive'. I didn't even get to the end of the first chapter, all I wanted to do was puke. I don't think these kinds of novels, or videos, are for the masses..... but for their little circle of sickos. These books, horror movies and more are made for the elite. It's made so they can try to ease people into accepting abhorrent violence like this. Look at the Saw movies and those like it. Depravity all ways around.

So yeah I do believe that HRC and Huma have raped and skinned a child. To say they wouldn't have the skills? I would dare say that if they have been doing it as long as HRC likely has.... they indeed would be expertly proficient at it. They need to fucking hang!!

And my god is that even a sickening thought. It's not just one child. But dozens, maybe even hundreds of child abuse victims at the hands of these two vile sickos.

So you believe in the existence of a video that you've never seen before cuz of a novel or a series of novels you never finished the first chapter of? Main thrust of Q seems to be about creating belief rather than distributing information. Not making an "argument", or declaring a belief, just making an observation.

Main thrust of Q seems to be about creating belief.

All humans are subject to confirmation bias. If you don't pause to check yourself via logic and critical thinking. It's extremely powerful and once it sets in, it's hard to let go off. All detectives have stories where they are convinced they have the right guy only to find the DNA doesn't match or the guy was in jail at the time. You get tunnel vision, where you unconsciously block out over evidence

Confirmation bias, is the tendency to search for, interpret, favor, and recall information in a way that confirms one's preexisting beliefs or hypotheses.

But Dr. James Fetzer never shuts up about how he knows all about logic and critical thinking, and yet he buys into every conspiracy.

If a philosopher of science is no expert on logic and critical thinking, how do we know you are?

Ever heard of the exception that proves the rule? He might be that.

I have seen people on here claim the mantle of critical thinking while engaging in flat out conspiratorial speculation. There was a thread recently "critically thought" its way from the fire at Trump Tower to an attempted assassination of the President. So not everyone who claims to be doing it, knows what it is.

I don't claim at all to be an expert on it, but I know since looking into logic and critical thinking, I'm a lot better at it and my arguments are sounder. It also helps get to the core issue.

If I was an expert, I could easily pinpoint the flaw in your argument.

It might be argument from Authority, actually** looking it up** just now, it seems like it's argument from false authority.

If I had to provide a counter argument, I would say your thesis is like saying, we shouldn't use a tool because someone once used it badly.

You shouldn't use a hammer, I know someone who used a hammer and broke his thumb and a plate glass window.

This not an argument against using a tool correctly and carefully.

You shouldn't drive a car, I know someone who drove off a cliff.

Taking arguments to absurd conclusions is a way of testing if they are sound.

my arguments are sounder.

What does this mean?

we shouldn't use a tool because someone once used it badly.

The question isn't whether or not we should use the tools of logic and critical thinking. The question is how we are to resolve conflicts when different parties with opposing conclusions claim to be the ones with logic and critical thinking on their side.

my arguments are sounder.

A sound argument is a well-founded argument which is how I meant it.

In Logic, there's a formal definition of a sound argument as well.

Validation vs. soundness An argument is sound if and only if

The argument is valid, and All of its premises are true. For instance,

All men are mortal. Socrates is a man. Therefore, Socrates is mortal. The argument is valid (because the conclusion is true based on the premises, that is, that the conclusion follows the premises) and since the premises are in fact true, the argument is sound.

The following argument is valid but not sound:

All organisms with wings can fly. Penguins have wings. Therefore, penguins can fly.

Since the first premise is actually false, the argument, though valid (the premises of an argument do not have to be true in order for the argument to be valid), is not sound.

..

The question is how we are to resolve conflicts when different parties with opposing conclusions claim to be the ones with logic and critical thinking on their side.

You can examine each of their claims and their premises and see which hold up and which conclusions are logical. The same way you normally would I suppose.

But how is your argument 'sounder'?

A well reasoned observation. We need more like you around here.

I might not have finished the novel, but I read long detailed reviews as I wanted to understand why in the fuck any sane person would write such horrific crap. I don't watch horror movies because I just think these assholes are showing off their depravity and pushing it as horror to titillate and horrify viewers.... while at the same time they are pushing this idea that such depravity can ONLY be fiction, so that when the true videos drop (ie this alleged one of Hillary and Huma) will be dismissed as CGI / prosthetics because 'lol, no one is really THAT sick'. When actually, they are. And they show it in tv and movies and novels all the time.

My belief in the video has little to do with Q and more to do with gaining an understanding in my time within the pizzagate community that the darkest deeds we could imagine pale to what these monsters really get up to. I mean what has been seen prior to this alleged video drop is reportedly so bad that it made hardened cops vomit and need psychiatric help. If we've been "prepared" through media for some pretty yuck stuff.... what worse could they have seen? I think Hillary and Huma harming a child in the ways described would rank up there.
