The guy who was the architect Bernard Maybeck, is the same architect who designed the Bohemian Grove clubhouse.
Maybeck, Bernard Well-known US architect who built the Bohemian Grove club house in 1904.

Maybe we need to dig more on the architect and the convent. Why is this property so desired? Because of its monetary value, history, and aesthetics? Or something else perhaps?
