In 2017, an investigator with the Criminal Enforcement Division of the Maryland State Police initially received information from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children about child pornography potentially being uploaded on the Internet, a press release states. Any information coming from NCMEC is suspicious in my mind.
"Any information coming from NCMEC is suspicious in my mind. " YES! I totally agree. I have noticed lately that they are mentioned in arrests lately, quite a bit. This in some way appears that they are helping with arrests, passing on information etc. Some on here have questioned this, Like, wow, I thought they were suspect. Possibly they are being added to articles to change their Bad Image? I don't buy their involvement as The Good Guys either. And yes, there could be collaboration as far as detection.
