IMO , if I heard a valid explanation for why the year 1914 is so important to the elite , I would be researching the year 1914! I'm not sure that Native Americans had "a sense of peace" before 1914, more a sense of being almost wiped out. Something similar could be said about Africans. The world was not a better place before the 20th cent.

Entire nations—including civilian populations—were mobilized to support the war effort. It is estimated that by the end of the war 93 percent of the population of the world was involved.
