First rule of v/pizzagate: We will ban your butt pronto if you directly link to illegal pornographic images of kids
However, that doesn't mean you can't share research about pedo pornographers and organize campaigns to raise public outcry and force service providers to take down sites. Here's how to do so without endangering Voat or fellow voaters:
- NEVER use the Link button to submit a dangerous url; always make a Discuss post
- Break any link that leads to CP by adding spaces into the url so that users must copy and paste it into their browser
- Precede dangerous urls or those that lead to them with a clear warning in bolded ALL CAPS of what lies beyond and that researchers proceed at their own risk and take proper security precautions.
- If possible, try to make sure researchers have to click through at least two layers down before encountering actual images
- Flair your post NSFW
- Verbally describe the content you have found in enough detail to let other researchers decide how to proceed
As added insurance, mods may flair a post "Potential Security Risk".
Outting these slime and the human turds who protect and fund them is a vital part of our mission, and Voat's anti-censorship commitment make this one of the few forums where documenting that effort is possible. Let's help each other use that power and freedom responsibly.

OP - the more I thought about this, the more I think that @kevdude and @Crensch need to be aware that you have given instructions for how to hide illegal content within /v/pizzagate content by using non-functional links. Likely the content will be available on search engine results, regardless of the additional spacing. People will absolutely be able to post illegal content in the verse with this procedure.

By all means. I consulted with them prior to writing this sticky, but forgot to ping them in the sticky itself.
To be clear, this is not a thread inviting people to post broken links to CP. It is a thread explaining how to Voat allows crowdsourced investigation of those who harm kids.

As per usual, I don't mind being incorrect. I try not pester yon owners too often.
