This makes me sick. It is bad enough that the father is abusing his own daughter, but the Birth Mother? Birth Mother means she was carrying this little baby inside her belly for 9 months. Most women have a special connection since they give Birth to a child. I can't even imagine how horrid a child feels when there are such horrible things done by their own Mother. And Father. Why does it seem there are more women lately being reported as abusers. Is it just starting to come out now, or it this really getting worse among women. I hope to God not. We do not need more abusers, men or women.
Has anyone here read: A Boy Called It by David Pelzer? The boys mother is evil and tortures her son. Maybe abuse by mothers has been hidden in the past and is now coming out more. I sure hope we never become conditioned to ignore cases like this. But beyond reporting abuse to authorities, proper handling of perps isn't always being done. It is so frustrating!!!!!!!
The information I have been reading lately, about abusive women, and especially mothers it really scares me. I find it shocking actually that this has not come out before. Although the news is not so good, I am glad it is coming to light. No I have not read this account of the boy's mother. Another sad case.

Yes, that's what I think. Society tends to glorify all mothers, and while many women are excellent mothers, some really aren't.
