The abc news article i read didnt say she intends to donate any potential recovery from her just filed suit. Re swimsuit/si basically nide photos talking bout overcoming abuse, what message is that exactly? U too can sell sex even if some immoral man abused you? Guess we disagree
i think us agreeing that we disagree is awesome and the foundation of keeping this board strong. one sorta naked picture I saw of her was her naked body, nothing exposed, with empowering slogans all over it. I don't think there's anything demeaning or sexualized about that. it says that her body is hers, that it is beautiful, and that she makes her own choices.
I did see her sports illustrated photos and agree they are "sexy" pics. but I think a woman has a right to do that and that in no way means she deserves to be abused. to me the problem isn't necessary sexy photos, but sexually objectifying photos, that show women as sex objects or mere body parts. i see those as the ones that increase violence towards women. but i think a woman has a right to do an artful semi-nude photo and is still deserving of respect. she is an incredible young woman. immensely talented and brave.

tell her to stop doing naked magazine covers if she wants to be a hero/leader, and donate the proceeds of her lawsuit to the cause

all her proceeds are donated. I do not think any of her photo shoots have been in poor taste.
