There's no way big shots like the Podestas would get their own hands dirty. They would have goons who would handle that end (a la Marc Dutroux/Dean Corll/John Wayne Gacy/Laura Silsby, etc.). It seems to me that, after Madeleine was accidentally killed by the paedophile(s) her parents had sold her out to and the bogus abduction scenario peddled, the McCann team put out the efits which bear such an uncanny resemblance to the Podestas (it's important to remember that the efits, which are based on an alleged sighting by the Smith family of a man carrying a child circa 10pm on the night Madeleine was reported mising, did not originate from the police but from ex MI5 operative Henri Exton who was working for fraudster Kevin Halligen, who was hired by the McCann team and whose blood sodden corpse was found in his/his girlfriend's home a few weeks ago. Indeed, in their initial statements, the Smiths told Portuguese authorities that they did not get a look at the man's face and would not recognise him if they saw him again) to serve as a warning that if it ever becomes expedient to throw the McCanns under the bus, they still have the capacity to take Madeleine's killer(s) down with them.
