I know most of the symbols well, I know what they are pointing to. They are big into the theater (see the covers of the economist). There is the old mystery Greek theatre (mystery schools). Masks/personas/alter ego. You also have peaches, we know what they represent. black/white duality. Druidism or nature worship with the antlers. Cinderella slipper (fits the one they are waiting for).

Actually, I thought Mona Lisa was the fact that the subject looked androgynous and so is the "one they're waiting for".
