I remember seeing that. I think it was from the E True Hollywood Story of "Poltergeist". I know Carm - horrific. What can we do anymore except continue fighting for heather. So the two actors who played her parents (both well known) KNEW NOTHING of what was going on??? Nothing? Noone? PAs, runners, directors, chauffeurs, catering? Not ONE person said anything about anything. Iwould imagine those films sets are gossip central and no one protected or spoke out for Heather. I'm torn because I want to damn them all to hell but they all needed to keep their jobs and weren't living in the times we're in now. So: now we are here, why doesn't someone say something?

There are probably bits and pieces from all of us. Who knows. I agree with @millennial_vulcan that it's great for our cause to get it out there, but it's kind of like plagerism. Somewhat unfair. Yes, and we don't have time to watch all those vids.

It's actually easier to explain since movie sets require tutors to be present to keep the kiddies up to date with schoolwork so that's explainable. What is not is handing a child over to a stranger for a year. It's almost as bizarre as John Cusack moving in with Rob Reiner when he was sixteen. Really? What do you think they talked about? Heather was failed by all around her. And one thing that keeps occurring to me is why they are even allowed to make those kind of movies like Poltergeist with children. It can be traumatizing enough. Real skeletons on the set? Then she is being abused? I have no sympathy for her parents. None. I wonder how her sister Tammy is doing. Yes, they must suffer.
