The reason porn is bad is the same reason being gay and all kinds of other shit is bad. People are still just dumb animals and far too many of us--given the opportunity--will take vices, addictions, and desires to their logical extremes. If you're seeing that shit it means there's enough people that are depraved enough for it to be normalized.
While I agree, we cannot go the puritanical route of trying to ban these things outright, or we will repeat our problems.
We can explain how porn is psychologically addictive, can be detrimental to your well-being and relationships, etc. Teaching that homosexuality isn't necessarily a choice, but educate on how adults, culture, and exposure groom children, and how it correlates with pedophilia. Etc.
We as a culture need to find God again, as well. But pandora's box has been opened. Porn isn't inherently bad, and homosexuality isn't inherently wrong. That also doesn't mean we should encourage or glorify those as a society, and we should be able to openly discuss why.
