Barbara Hewson’s cousin is Peter Jonathan Denby, and he has a history. Peter Jonathan Denby went to the University of York and he would strike up a life long friendship with a man named Keith. Keith Harvey Proctor would go on to become the disgraced Member of Parliament for Billericay, when he was found having sexual relations with a 16 year old boy. He would also be at the centre of the Operation Midland investigation to child sexual abuse allegations.

I can't seem to wrap my head around it, and decide whether it was set up on purpose to make all further claims by abuse survivors sound ridiculous. (A situation we have right now - read a piece on the Guardian yesterday comparing Operation Midland and all related investigations to the 'Satanic Panic' in the US two decades ago.)
I don’t care what the newspapers had to say. I believe that the claims made throughout Op Midland were true. The claims against Proctor and others has been substantiated many times by people around at the time but unable to furnish the required forensic evidence, (and in light of the media scrum and slaughter of witnesses) made the decision not to step forward. I feel the same about the witness ‘Nick’ who was able to present times and dates, addresses and events with clarity, but without supporting witnesse and again, forensic proof, was on a hiding to nothing from the outset. That these accused were paid compensation galls me to this day, as does the still unexplained closure of the case against Heath, and the relevant witness evidence judged by a Senior Wiltshire Police Officer to be “120 per cent true”. The area of Pimlico and Belgravia was, (and still is) rife with accusations of sexual abuse throughout the 70’s 80’s and 90’s (and is coincidentally peppered with elite and politicians who reside there as their second home paid for with Parliamentary expenses) and rest assured, there is plenty today that is an unspoken quiet secret within that area; I (and many others) believe that Elite abuse still continues there. In short, I think ‘Nick’ was ‘got at’, and his claims closed down for fears of the disparagement and (what could have become) the dismantling of public Parliamentary trust. I personally think it never stopped, I just think they have become more adept at hiding it. There are far too many retired (and some active) police officers who support such claims but who have been ‘persuaded’ not to voice what they know.
